Today was a great day in Voss. Kjetil is an avid sky diver and wanted Espen and I to try the indoor wind tunnel. How exciting!

Espen and I seemed to be naturals except for the time I knocked down the instructor. It seems when an instructor is knocked out he has to buy the other instructors a beer....ha! sorry about that!!

Off to Voss. Espen and I take the train to spend our next 5 days with Espen's parents. Our train ride....

Day 2.
With only a few hours of night time here in the summer it really makes you feel like you could go on forever. Espen and I at this point already adjusted to the time change, so we think.....

Today we get to meet Edwin; Kim and Camillah's beautiful happy son! What a joy to see a blonde haired blue eyed baby completely understand Norwegian! Ha!! How ignorant that may seem but it is quite fascinating and adorable.

Edwin....pronounced Edvin.
For the record I taught Edwin his first english word. bye-bye

Our plans for the evening is to go to a local concert of a band that plays Rock cover songs. http://www.ringerike.no/aktuelt/jailhouse-rock-2012
But first we are going to Stian and Kari's house to have dinner. It was our first time meeting them and everyone was so kind and gracious to Espen and I.

After dinner and the concert we go back to Stian and Kari's home for after party. Camilla and I decide to end our evening around 3:30 am and leave the boys to keep partying. Espen drags himself back later the next morning
What a great evening of food, music and new friends.

Whew.....finally.

Please forgive me being day 5 and have yet to write a blog to update you on our Norwegian Expedition. I've found myself soaking in every moment and not wanting to pry myself away to keep up, that and I've had a few technical difficulties to work through.

So here goes......

Day 1.
We arrived in Norway to much cooler weather. After 16 hours of traveling really all we want is to be at our destination and hopefully pop open some bubbly. Well Kim and Camilla must have read our minds because when we arrive they have 4 champagne glasses prepared and a beautiful spread of cheese and crackers for dinner.

 I do believe I will be just fine here and from the looks of this my diet is out the window and it's just fine by me.
After our tour of their amazing home we decide that we should hit their hot tub. Nothing finer then being in Norway, cold outdoor temperature, a hot tub and a couple of bottles of champagne to celebrate the joining of 4 friends again. It's been way too long and Espen has already decided what a shame he waited 7 years to come home.

Hours of laughing and conversing together we solved world hunger and planned Camilla and Kim's bachelor and bachelorette parties....watch out 2015!

I blog sometimes...so here goes my next assignment!
